Inspiration & Creation

I Don’t Hate. was created during one of the most profound seasons of spiritual healing in my life. It was a time of releasing the old self—one that carried anger, pain, and negativity—and embracing the light, love, and renewal of my divine essence. Each brushstroke became an expression of rebirth, guiding me toward a state of inner peace and forgiveness. This painting embodies that journey of surrender, release, and illumination.

Technique & Artistic Approach

The head-wrapped woman sits gracefully within a blooming lotus, her legs formed in the yogi lotus pose, hands raised towards the heavens in graceful gratitude. The background shifts in hues of turquoise, green, and soft yellow, mirroring the full spectrum of emotions—joy, sorrow, pain, love, and hope—that I navigated during this healing process.

White droplets fall across the canvas, symbolic of tears shed, while the body itself emits waves of color and light, signifying the resilience and vibrancy that remained intact through transformation. A golden spiral flows up the spine, representing kundalini awakening, alignment, and the rise of higher consciousness.

The Symbolism of the Lotus, Tears & Light

Lotus: A timeless emblem of rebirth, renewal, and spiritual becoming. Here, it anchors the woman in a state of divine transformation.

Raindrops/Tears: Each droplet symbolizes the release of grief and negativity, creating space for new life and new light.

Light Emanation: The glowing aura radiating from her body affirms that through every trial, the essence of the soul remains luminous, colorful, and eternal—like the universe itself.
